 If you own a LCD TV, a PC, a mobile phone or a digital camera, the chances are that you are the owner of a Toppan colour filter. Colour filters are an essential component in all of the above products and Toppan leads the market in terms of sales. Our filters are recognised worldwide for their quality and reliability.
Toppan is also second to none in the design and manufacture of products related to semiconductors and displays. In the semiconductor manufacturing process, photomasks are used as a negative plate for burning ultrafine circuit patterns onto silicon wafers. Taking advantage of its cutting-edge technical capabilities, Toppan has established a system for mass producing photomasks used in the manufacture of circuits only 65nm wide (1nm = 1 millionth of a millimetre). Optronics
As digitalization of terrestrial broadcasts, and high definition TV and DVD take hold, demand for unprecedented high definition visual expression is constantly growing. In optronics, we are turning out optical devices and other revolutionary products based on a fusion of thin-film coating technology and lens forming technology developed from printing operations and advanced electronics technology. One of these products is a Fine Pitch & High Contrast (FC) Screen used in Microdisplay (MD) rear projection TV’s. Another of our main products in Optronics is high-performance surface treatment film (anti-reflection etc) for flat-panel displays. Our surface treatment film is used on mobile phone screens, PC monitor s and laptops, TV’s, and a wide variety of other products.
In Europe we are deeply involved in the sales of the products outlined above, liaising between our customers and our productions plants in France, Germany and the rest of the world. We have a truly global production network with a worldwide customer support network to match.
