The fundamental concept governing Toppan's creation of packaging is "FEEL." FEEL is an acronym for "Function," "Environment," "Effect," and "Lifestyle," reflecting our aim of creating packaging that meets and surpasses the needs of both our customer and the consumer, is compatible with modern lifestyles and causes as little damage to the environment as possible. In addition to the FEEL concept, we have also installed systems and processes for offering environmentally friendly products and services and obtained ISO 14001 certifications.
In Japan, our packaging business encompasses operations such as the planning, development, and manufacturing of packaging materials (flexible packaging, moulded plastic products, paper containers, cardboard containers, etc.), development and manufacturing of filling and packaging systems machinery, contract filling services, and product consulting. The result is a total packing solution, unique to each and every customer.
Out of our London office, we are able to cover the whole of the European market, and although particular emphasis is currently placed on the marketing and sales of our strategic products, GL and GX film, we are working towards the proliferation of a wider range of Toppan packaging products throughout Europe and beyond.
